These are my beautiful little darlings, that I adore with all my heart. Some of them have been with me for so long that they are a huge part of my life. In some ways they are like little kids, but more cuddly (and naughty).
Poodle Poodle is a darling little Australian Red Wattle bird that came into our care (we found her on the ground as a baby) around the 28 December 2008. Poodle quickly became part of the family and has a kind of quirky demeanour. Sometimes she hangs upside down from one leg, loves to get on peoples shoulders and heads and has a wonderful time playing chase around the bedroom (yes she has had her own bedroom). Did I also mention she is not really a great fan of flying and would rather hop around. I have even tried to teach her to fly, but she just tweet-laughed at me. Haha!
Maddy also known as Maddy-Ray, Madgels, Madge, Maddy-Ray-Lee, Maddy-Lee, Maddy-Ray-Cyrus and Bubble is a little bungle of love with a wide birth of names. She was born in 2003ish and was always the shy cat who would run away from strangers and snob them completely but over the years has come out of her shell more. She is quite spoilt and demands things her own way and refuses to eat the normal cat food, served for the others. She can have a bit of an attitude and think she is quite invincible in the face of danger, but she is the youngest, the little baby of the group so does get a little extra attention and on some occasions protection from her own ideas.
Oscar also known as Noodle, Doodle and The Brat. She is a female kitty that was born in 2003 and is my baby. She has been with me for a long time and when I was living at home on my own she kept me company and we developed a very close bond with each other. Once upon a time she was a very thin girl, but now she has developed a taste for food that has transformed her whole life and she is massive. She is soft natured, slightly spoilt and a little slow, well a lot. She isn't the brightest spark and does things on a daily basis she needs rescuing from. But that is Oscar and I love and adore her for what she is and she loves me back.
Tigger is a female and was born in 1997. She is the daughter of Pocket and sister to Witchypoo and Wringo. Now, I love Tigger deeply but she does have many problems or issues that separate from the others. She goes in the door and then wants to go out the door. She wants one thing and then demands another. One moment she is having a cuddle then gets an idea about something scratches you and runs away. She fights any other cats that hang around and is always being picked on by the others, which is probably why she can be a bit of an oddball. But I always share my love, even with the underdog and rescue her from a beating whenever I notice the bullying taking place. She may be a little unstable, but that is Tigger.
Pocket was given to me in 1996, or rather she was snuck into the house with a friend because I really wanted a cat. Unfortunately my plan backfired and I was caught out, but allowed to keep her anyway. She got her name from the fact she was so small she could fit into my pocket. Now, don't be fooled by the cute name and appearance of this little devil. She has the sharpest personality (and claws, ouch) of any of the cats I own or have owned. She likes to be in control and happily becomes the boss of anything. She has a big personality in a little form and is not afraid to let loose. She sleeps on my bed every night and can be quite lovie-dovie if the moment suits then be scratching me the next. She is one of a kind, and highly intelligent. I love the Pocket.Missing In Action.
Sometimes life can be cruel. Ripping away from you the souls you love and adore. Unfortunately these are the animals that have passed on or have gone missing. I hope one day I may be reunited with them all, because they are so very special.
Fuss Fuss was a ginger male cat who was our first ever. He was a stray that wondered to the door and may have been previously owned because he was very friendly. I was only quite small when he first arrived and I grew to love him dearly. He would sleep on my bed with me at night and snuggle into me. I have many fond memories with him. But unfortunately he was bitten by a snake and we did not find him until it was too late. It upset me for a long time, and still does writing it now, so many years later.
Deceased around 1997 - 1998.
Took-Took.
Took-Took also known as Dook Dook was a chicken and I loved her so very much. Some people may think it would be silly to love a simple animal, but that is where I could argue my point for a million years, every living creature has a soul and an ability to love and be loved. Took-Took wondered around the yard, sometimes snuck into the house and she loved to poo! She also had her own private house and got locked in every night. But sadly one morning got her. I screamed and cried so very loud, many neighbours wondering what the commotion was about. She was a friend to be and I loved her.
Deceased around 1997 - 1998.
Wringo Wringo was from the same little of kittens as Witchypoo and Tiger (1997) and the first word that comes to mind is gay. But he was very adorable. He would prance around and give cuddles and always be very sweet and innocent. Not to mention he had an obsession with sticking his head into shoes and bowls. One day he went missing. We had heard rumours about people in our town finding a new cat and at least hoped he was happy and maybe one day he would return home.

Missing around 1998 - 1999.
Missy Missy was our first and only dog to have owned (to date). She was given to us fully grown because the owner was going to have her put down and we didn't want to let that happen. She had always been a free spirit doing as she pleased and never really taking any order, but I still loved her. She was a good companion for many years, and got very sick in the end.

Deceased around 2000 - 2001.
Snuffles Snuffles was born with defects in her throat due to inbreeding along the same family line of cats. From the moment she was brought into this world she struggled to survive. She was born in 2004 and my Mum fought hard to keep her alive. But never in my life have I been crossed by a soul so pure and loving and so striking as was contained in this sick little angel of hope. Even in her final hours, it was as if she wanted to grant the world a thousand wishes and make it a better place.
Deceased in 2005.
Witchypoo was born in 1997 the daughter of Pocket and sister to Tigger. She was the loud personality who meowed any anything and demanded attention and was what we liked to call on many occasions the 'Deva'. She would always sleep on my bed and followed me around should I venture out into the realm of our back yard. I had a very special bond with her and went into a rollercoaster of depression when she first went missing in October and still have trouble coming to terms with it. When you loose an animal that is so close to you or anyone for that matter and you never have a trace of them you become so twisted and torn and cling to every last drop of hope, thinking they will one day return. I hope she will, I really do.
Missing from October 2007.
Stubson Stubson is a stray that arrived around 2005. He has never really been on friendly terms with us and likes to keep his distance but the whole family as grown rather fond of him. He got his name because he has a stubby tale instead of the long one our other cats have, and Mr because he is all class. He went missing in 2007 and we hope he will return back again soon.Missing from December 2007.
